As part of The Cultural Foundation of Harrison County’s Grand Performances concert series, pop vocal group Tenore will be singing songs from their GMA Covenant Award winning album, Christmas with You, at the First United Methodist Church of Clarksburg on Friday, December 16, 2016. Spreading Christmas cheer for all to hear, the trio will start the show at 7:30 pm.

Tenore, comprised of Jason Catron, Mark David Williams, and David Wise, has it all! The men of Tenore exude wit, talent, charm, and charisma while performing regularly at sold out shows. Audiences can expect a special chemistry that breaks down musical barriers and draws together diverse cultures as the entire room sings along.

“Tenore will blow you away from the first listen, yet addict you like a great Bocelli record,” said Brett Manning, a world-renowned vocal coach and founder of Singing Success.

Aside from this one of a kind Christmas event, The Cultural Foundation and the Barbara B. Highland Fund for the Arts have lined up two additional world-class artists as part of the inaugural season of Grand Performances, the new community concert series. This is also a way to build anticipation for the 2018 opening of the Robinson Grand Performing Arts Center.

Next up in the series is Cherish the Ladies, a Grammy nominated Irish-American Celtic music and step dancing group. The group will be at the Robert C. Byrd H.S. Theater on March 2, 2017. Fabulous Little Big Band wraps up the season with their high energy, 11-piece band on May 8, 2017 also at the RCB Theater. The series started the season with Broadway artist Kirsten Wyatt.

The concert series is made possible through an endowment from longtime resident and patron of the arts, the late Barbara Brennan Highland.

“Barbara Brennan Highland loved Community Concerts,” says Dolores Yoke, Cultural Foundation board member and Chair of BBH Fund for the Arts. “They brought the world’s best music and dance here to be enjoyed with her parents, her friends and later her daughter. Grand Performances is among her generous gifts to us all.”

Season tickets for the concert series can be purchased at a discounted price. Individual tickets are also available. To order, visit www.theculturalfoundation.org or call (304) 624-6077.
