Get excited craft beer enthusiasts! On Sunday, the Bridgeport Arts Council announced on Connect-Bridgeport that the city’s first-ever Sound Waves and IPAs Festival will be held this summer. The event will be held at Bridgeport City Park on June 25 at 1PM. VIP tickets will be available which will include early admission one hour before the event officially begins.

The “adults-only” (must be at least 21 to enter) festival will also include live music from at least three bands, along with various food vendors.

The main focus of the event is to raise funds for the Bridgeport Arts Council to help support and grow Arts Council events such as the “Concerts in the Park” series.

Specific details regarding ticket prices, beer and food vendors, and bands are still being determined.

For more details and information on this new event coming to the area, check out the full story at Connect-Bridgeport.
