On Friday, June 10, and Saturday, June 11, St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church in Clarksburg will host its 15th Annual Greek Food Festival. The festival is open each day from 11AM until 8PM.

The annual event features favorite Greek foods such as spanakopita, lamb, baklava, pastichio, and moussaka. New to the festival this year will be a gyro dinner sale, which will only be available on Saturday.

The church began the festival as a way to introduce and share its culture, cuisine, and religion with North Central West Virginia and to help support the ministries of the church.

“I enjoy meeting new people and old friends and being able to answer many of their questions about our Greek heritage. And, yes, I love the food,” said Maria Alex, an event organizer and church member. “We offer our guests a little ‘taste of Greece’ and hopefully, many will add Greece to their future travels.”

St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church is located at 1010 Factory Street in the Summit Park section of Clarksburg.
