This undated photo shows inside the lobby of the Traders Hotel most likely around, or before, the turn of the 20th century. The hotel was located at the corner of W. Main and Third Streets in downtown Clarksburg. On January 20, 1911, a major fire destroyed the hotel, along with other surrounding businesses on the block.

In 1912, construction began on the Union National Bank building on the site of the Traders Hotel, and was completed in 1914. Today, Chase Bank is located in the building, along with other businesses.
