The Clarksburg Convention & Visitors Bureau is sponsoring a free training for all frontline staff in the area with this top-notch hospitality education opportunity. The training will be Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at the Days Inn & Suites located at 112 Tolley Drive, Bridgeport, WV 26330. Training will begin at 9:30AM and conclude about 10:45AM with light refreshments offered. Participants will learn the skills necessary to deliver exemplary service to all of the State’s visitors and citizens.
This comprehensive one hour training course was designed and developed by West Virginians to improve the quality of service that all guests of the Mountain State receive. This training is in collaboration with the West Virginia State Auditor’s Office. Participants will learn how to:
- Improve the quality of service provided to guests and/or customers
- Exceed guest expectations and build customer loyalty with exceptional service
- Be visitor sensitive and assist visitors
- Create consistent levels of service
- Be familiar with WV attractions, landmarks, and travel-related businesses

About the Presenter: Training specialist, John Sorrenti, is a graduate of West Virginia University Institute of Technology. He was a training manager of Mountaineer Park Inc. for nine years and has spent the last four years as a trainer and motivational speaker for the West Virginia State Auditor’s Office. Not only is Sorrenti a professional trainer and speaker, but also a great entertainer – he knows how to make learning fun!
