The Clarksburg Fire Fighters IAFF Local 89 is hosting its annual fire truck rides and canned food drive to kick off Fire Prevention Week 2016. The rides will take place on Sunday, October 9, from 1-4PM.

In exchange for a donation of two or more cans of food, children will be taken on an exciting ride through the streets of Clarksburg on a fire truck. Fire prevention materials and light refreshments will also be available.

The event will be held at the Clarksburg Fire Department in downtown Clarksburg on the corner of Main and Sixth Streets.

All canned food donations will go to The Mustard Seed, a local organization that provides food and clothing to those in need in the surrounding area.
