Looking for an unforgettable summer adventure to share with your kids? A perfect day for kids or kids at heart, Hovatter’s Wildlife Zoo is hosting Kids Day at the Zoo on Saturday, June 25.

The zoo has scheduled hours of activities that are fun for the entire family, including exciting games, face painting, music, and more. There will also be free buttered popcorn and cotton candy available for every guest.

Don’t miss out on a rare opportunity to have your photo taken with a lion cub, ride a camel, or hand feed a giraffe – but watch out, they love kisses. Camel rides are $5.00 per person and there are a variety of photo packages with the lion cubs that range from $20.00 – $30.00. All exhibits will be open, so don’t miss the chance to see zebras, bears, and leopards among many other members of the animal kingdom.

Hovatter’s Wildlife Zoo is open from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. and there are activities scheduled from 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Play skee ball, go down the big slide, or participate in the country treasure hunt. With the purchase of admission tickets, guests will be entered into a raffle drawing at 11:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m., and 5:00 p.m. for a chance to win free lion cub photos, hoodies, and free admission passes.

Children ages 3 – 12 years old can enter the zoo for only $5.50. Adults pay the regular admission price of $12.00. The zoo is located at 291 Wagner Lane in Kingwood, WV. Detailed instructions can be found on their website.
