The Friends of the Clarksburg-Harrison Public Library will be hosting an informative discussion on the drug epidemic in our nation, state, county and city this Saturday, May 14, at 1PM at the public library in downtown Clarksburg. The event will feature special guest speaker John Temple, author of “American Pain: How a Young Felon and His Ring of Doctors Unleashed America’s Deadliest Drug Epidemic.”

Lou Ortenzio of Celebrate Recovery will also join Temple for an in-depth discussion focused on how communities can work to bring awareness and reformation to this epidemic.

Temple is an associate professor of journalism at West Virginia University where he teaches reporting and writing courses.
