The One King Mud Run returns Saturday, July 22, 2017 with an all new location and even tougher challenges. The Taylor County Fairgrounds in Grafton, WV will be home to the 3rd annual fundraising event.

The One King Mud Run is a fun and challenging 5K organized by One King Sports Ministry. All of the money generated from the obstacle race goes to local ministry efforts and the campaign to build the group’s $2 million indoor sports complex in Harrison County.

Last year, things got real messy at the Barbour County Fairgrounds! One King Mud Run introduced a feature obstacle called “Big Daddy” – a 13-foot warped wall that was lined up at the finish line for all to see. The 5K includes obstacles for all fitness levels, as long as you can crawl, walk, or run across the finish line. There is also an age appropriate course for kids.

In 2017, runners should prepare for three miles of crazy fun, over 20 obstacles, and a challenging terrain. Early registrants will receive a free t-shirt and a custom One King Mud Run Finisher medal to sport with pride.

Registration opens at the beginning of 2017. Businesses interested in event sponsorship opportunities should email ricky.hitt@onekingsports.org. To stay tuned for updates, follow One King Mud Run on Facebook or Instagram @onekingsports.
