On July 23, the Clarksburg Fire Department received a new state-of-the-art pumper truck to replace their previous truck from 1995.

This beauty will be protecting the citizens of Clarksburg; Clarksburg Fire Department received their new pumper truck yesterday.

According to Fire Chief Rick Scott, the new 2015 Sutphen custom pumper will be stationed at their West End location and carry full complement of firefighting and rescue equipment. The truck carries 750 gallons of water and has the capacity to pump 1,500 gallons per minute.

This new truck will replace an existing 1995 model and is designed to last 20 to 25 years.
