On Thursday, the City of Clarksburg will kick off their annual milling and paving project throughout the city. Here is an update from the City of Clarksburg’s Facebook page:

The City of Clarksburg will begin this year’s annual Milling/ Paving Project on Thursday, July 23rd and conclude on Tuesday, June 28th.

The project will be executed in (3) three stages; the milling (as completed by a contractor), the clean-up (as completed by the Clarksburg Public Works Department, and the paving (as completed by a contractor). Residents are requested to cooperate by relocating their vehicles on the scheduled days, in order for their roads to be repaired and restored. The schedule can at times change due to inclement weather and/or mechanical issues, therefore, we will keep the property owners and residents within these areas informed via social media. Additionally, these streets are posted the night before.

The city will start on Thursday with Waverly Way, Temple Terrace, Ryder, Bond, Stealey, Nicholas, S. Alexander, and Liberty.
