Create Bridgeport + Clarksburg installed the first of many Little Free Libraries this week at the Margaret McCoy Community Garden located on Monticello Avenue.

Community members from both Clarksburg and Bridgeport donated the books for the library and the library was donated by Create Buckhannon.

Create Bridgeport + Clarksburg has plans in place to install more Little Free Libraries throughout local communities this spring, in partnership with United Technical Center, who will build the libraries to be installed.

CREATE is focused on bringing together residents willing to dedicate their time to fostering change in our community. Create Bridgeport + Clarksburg has been meeting for 10 weeks, on Tuesdays at Parkette Family Restaurant.

The group holds one evening meeting on the last Tuesday of every month in Bridgeport at Meagher’s Irish Pub.
