Three people were arrested on Saturday night in Clarksburg on heroin charges, according to WDTV. The Harrison County Street Crimes and Drug Unit, the Clarksburg Police, and the State Police attempted an undercover buy of heroin on Saturday night.

28-year old Travis Pennington of Clarksburg, and two minors from Pittsburgh, took payment from an undercover officer and fled in Pennington’s vehicle without giving heroin to the officer. Deputies followed them to the downtown Clarksburg Go-Mart, where one minor attempted to flee. He was soon apprehended near McDonalds at 745 W. Pike St.

Over $3,000 in cash and about 190 stamps of heroin were found.
