It’s official: The West Virginia State Police (WVSP) has won the 2015 Best Looking Cruiser Contest sponsored by the American Association of State Troopers!

Voting ended on Monday at midnight PDT, at which point the blue and gold cruiser had received the most amount of votes (Likes) on the contest’s Facebook post.

In a Facebook post on Tuesday morning, the WVSP said, “It is nice to win a national contest but what we really appreciate is the broad support and the kind comments you posted about our Troopers. We have a challenging job but we are blessed to live in a State where an overwhelming majority hold us in such high esteem.”

As the winners of the contest, the Mountain State cruiser will be featured on the cover of the AAST’s “America’s Best Looking Trooper Cruisers 2016 Wall Calendar.”
